Debate Invitation: Facing the Climate Catastrophe

Join us for a debate with MEPs organized as the Future Food 4 Climate coalition!
Invitation

Join us for a debate with MEPs organized as the Future Food 4 Climate coalition! The discussion will focus on the food system transition and what the European Commission is doing in the current legislature. During the conversation, we will touch upon the provisions of the European Green Deal, including the Farm to Fork strategy and the ambitions for current and future challenges.

The debate will feature two sides – MEPs vs. civil society organisations and activists:

Are current climate policies sufficient in a time of deepening climate crisis?
Why is the debate on food system transition still invisible at the EU level?
Are recent years of EC action a step forward or a failure and the comfort of decision-makers?
Why does animal agriculture receive more support than the plant-based sector? When will this change?
We will also assess what the European Commission has done and is doing to counter the red code on a plate!
The European Parliament will be represented by:
