How to get there

By public transport:

Weidenthal has a railway station on the route from Mannheim to
Kaiserslautern and Saarbrücken, but only local trains stop here. If you
come with a fast train, you have to change trains at Mannheim, Neustadt or
Kaiserslautern. There are trains (S-Bahn) every half hour. The distance
from the station to the Otto-Riethmüller-Haus is about 2 km. If you let us
know the time of your arrival, we will try to pick you up. There is also a
pick-up service by the house for 5 EUR.

By car

or

from the west or east
take the Autobahn A6 (Saarbruecken-Mannheim) until exit no. 17 =
Enkenbach-Alsenborn (East of Kaiserslautern)

from the north
take the Autobahn A63
(Mainz-Kaiserslautern) until exit no. 13 = Winnweiler

From both exits you come to the B 48, turn right and follow the B48 direction south
Hochspeyer/Neustadt/Bad Berzabern about 14 km from exit Winnweiler through
Enkenbach-Alsenborn, about 4 km from exit Enkenbach-Alsenborn until the
crossing with the B37/39 with traffic lights

turn left onto the B37/39 direction Neustadt
in the next village (Frankenstein) turn right on the B39 direction Neustadt
the next village is Weidenthal

in the middle of Weidenthal between the two churches you see the road sign for the "Otto-Riethmüller-Haus"
turn right here, follow the narrow road (Langentalstraße) almost until the
end of the village, turn right between a little lake and the sports field, the house is at
the end of this road.

from the south
take the Autobahn A5 from Basel to Karlsruhe,

from the south-east
take the A8 from Munich to Karlsruhe,

both roads meet at Kreuz Karlsruhe, go north direction Frankfurt
leave at exit 45 = Karlsruhe Mitte,
take the B10 direction Landau
through Karlsruhe and over the Rhine river, you automatically come on the
A65 direction Landau/Neustadt/Ludwigshafen

leave the A65 at exit 13 = Neustadt Sued
take the B39 direction Neustadt-Kaiserslautern,
through Neustadt-Lambrecht-Neidenfels (about 20 km)

the next village is Weidenthal
