Bavaria/Germany: Actress becomes politician
EVU board member Barbara
Ruetting, actress, author of 14 books
(dealing with a variety of issues such
as nutrition, health and environment)
and health consultant was elected
last September and is now a member
of the Bavarian State Parliament.
It is very reassuring to see someone
like Barabara Ruetting at the
highest level of decision-making.
There is no doubt that her dedication
to people and animals alike will be of
great help in working for a better world.
Congratulations, Barbara, and the best of luck.
"1989 several newspapers reported that people
in the Balkans were hungry or starving
because they did not have meat, sausages or
sugar. I ask myself why people need to starve
when they lack something, which I do not need
at all.
Organic vegetarian food or at least a diet
close to this way of eating would indeed be the
only way of saving many people from starvation…"
