  • To be vegetarian for the animals means to oppose slaughter by non-violent resistance, by refusing our participation in exploitation and in institutionalized massacre. To be vegetarian for the animals, it is to be conscientious objector.
    Antoine Comiti - acomiti@yahoo.com
  • The day will come when it will be obvious that a cow, a chicken, a pig is not to be eaten just as today it is obvious that the family cat or humans are not be be eaten.
    Antoine Comiti - acomiti@yahoo.com
  • By their everyday attitude and by their presence here today for the third Veggie Pride, vegetarians say NO to cruelty, and thus make society a bit more civilized.
    Antoine Comiti - acomiti@yahoo.com
  • We are taught to look down on non-human animals and to be their executioners. If barbarity is the norm in a society it is difficult to say no. We are proud of having the courage to say NO! (Veggie Pride Declaration)
  • No rights are granted to animals raised and slaughtered for food. We are determined to exercise our rights in full, because they are the only ones that animals have today, albeit indirectly. We shall speak out on their behalf until the massacre ceases. (Veggie Pride Declaration)
  • "If you don’t grow the carrots and vegetables yourself, you have no right to be a vegetarian!" - was the astounding comment from a passer-by
  • "God made animals to be eaten" - this statement certainly does ring a bell
  • “It is a scandal: you call yourselves educated and pretend that meat is not necessary for the human health!” a man cried and disappeared in the crowd.

We are animals and we stand in solidarity with all animals! http://www.veggiepride.org/fr
