Once I was a cynical bastard that didn't care about nothing. But the love for animals and becoming a vegan turned me into a better human being. So cynics go abuse yourselves. Idealists will conquer in the end.

Hello wake up everybody,
Eating meat is natural, we still cannot digest cellulose, and killing for food is also natural...Vegetarianism and especially veganism is self-denial!

Pieter Paul Laenen <>
london, europe - Wednesday, March 21, 2001 at 04:06:00 (PST)

If you become veggie do you have to remove your canine teeth, after all they're only there to tear meat (ask any omnivore/carnivore)? Do we kill all the remaining cattle etc.. as they won't be needed (even diary cattle if the vegans get their way). If not who's going to pay for the food of these several billion creatures?

Also, why some people who call themselves "veggie" still eat fish. Have these people not seen the way a fish dies..been suffocated/drowned in unbreathable air. So a quick shot to the head is less acceptable to a slow lingering death. I think some people ought get there priorities right! Also, wearing leather, do these people think cattle/pigs shed their skin like snakes? Wake up!

All those veggies who own cats/dogs do you convert them to veggie also? Do you chastise the sparrow in your garden for eating worms...where does it all end?

A omnivore (the way we were built!) and proud of it.

After seeing the athletic ability first hand and reading of the acheivements of many vegetarians there can be no doubt of the state of health one obviously can reach with such a diet. If I can get rid of old habits, if? , I will try to make the switch gradually. No more Alaskan King Crab dipped in hot butter, that will be tough. I probably will cheat some but no one will know.

Been vegetarian was not intended for my own wellness, but cause I could not stand the atrocious conditions for animals
(and spoil everithing around, like seas, lakes)and I think that all should be a bit more considerate with nature.
Especially if you think that (here in Italy), 30% or more of food is thrown away. And this include animals
I could highlite so many other points. I'm sure that if you are kind, you can respect everybodie, human being, animals, vegetals. If you can do something against animals, you can do the same aginst human being (see Amnesty international).
So, you are free to eat meet or fish, but please do not spoil the world and treat life (animals especially) with plenty of respect.
If you do not need, don't waste!! don't let them soffer so much. They suffer a lot, they have not recognized rights (not yet. They do not deserve it.

Dear Friends,

I am prepearing a website with the topics(homepage) as attached to

soy milk machine only for 50 US$ instead of 6000 Us$ which you can
see on

I hope it will be of use for fellow-vegies and other people.

I've been veggie for 25 years (since the age of 8)

I'd love to hear from any "veggies turned vegan",

I would add that being vegetarian in France is not easy!
